About Us : "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." - Mark 9:37 Our Mission Statement Dare To Care: Alliance For Children ("DTC") is a Christian organization dedicated to working with individuals and other organizations to help meet the special needs for families with children who are under-privileged, temporarily displaced, or coping with illness or disability. DTC provides aid in the form of basic necessities, shelter, medical essentials and assistance, understanding and support. Our Board will periodically meet to evaluate the various needs that are brought to our attention and distribute the donations to those individuals and organizations in accordance with its determination. In addition to seeking general donations, DTC will organize fundraising events, arrange outreaching opportunities, and form strategic alliances with local/national organizations. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes of the organization. It is our goal to achieve financial independence so that all funds raised and donated will go directly to help the children who need it most. The three founding members work strictly as volunteers and do not take any compensation from the organization. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, DTC enlists your support to help us to make life a little brighter for the children of these families in need.
